報告- Alison's Baby Buddies Playgroup

I bring 蠶豆仔 to the Baby Buddies Playgroup today in Tuen Mun and she is quite happy with it. She was exhausted after the 2 hours class and slept immediately when we left.

My comments are:
1. The new school is quite spacious with lots of new books & toys.
2. It's value for money.
3. 2 hours is good for 蠶豆仔 as she is kind of 慢熱 and always needs some time to get used to the new environment. She takes the first half hour to observe the teacher & other babies and the remaining hours is really the time she enjoys herself. For other playgroup which lasts for 1 hour, she always can't enjoy much cos when she has enough warm up, it is usually the time to say goodbye.
4. Alison is quite good.
5. There are not much for children to learn. Most of the time they are singing, dancing & playing.

Conclusion:
So, it's really depend on what expectation you have on the playgroup. If you want to find a place where your child can play with other babies, it's quite good. If you are looking for a place where your child need to learn something (e.g. flash cards / phonics, etc), that may not be an ideal place to go.

They have another school in Tin Hau. The one in Tuen Mun is the new branch.

I will go to tin hau for a trial on monday. let share with all of you later.
Actually baby can learn during playing. They learn how to listen instructure, what is your meaning, not only limited to learning reading.

This is the address of Tuen Mun branch. 都 ok近Tuen Mun 市中心

Shops C & D, Ground Floor, JC Place 345 Castle Peak Road, Tuen Mun, N.T. Hong Kong(即龍成花園)

You can find more information from their website. www.letter-land.com

I have joined their Saturday class.

If you want to try their trial class, need to go before Feb 16 as they will close the school during Chinese New Year Holiday for 2 weeks. If you want to go to Tin Hau to have the trial class on Sat, need to wait until March 10 as they have a long waiting list.

上完堂喇. 我上天后果間. 其實, d course 都幾full. 如果星期六上有排等, 平日只有星期二下午有位.
我講番個schedule.
2:00-2:30 free playing time - play the toys
2:30 - 2:45 singing and listen one story
2:45-3:00 snack time
3:00 - 3:15 free playing time (waiting for preparing the 手工時間
3:15- 3:30 手工時間 (but I feel not quite suitable for BB below 1.5 year old). 用水彩, 攪到成身係, 又無圍裙比, 又無濕紙巾
3:30-3:45 玩捐山洞, 行過障礙物
3:45- 4:00 講故事同singing good bye song

好處:
都算平, 因為有native english speaker
有好多外國小朋友一齊玩
都有好多玩具
學下紀律

唔係太好既地方:
人太多, 一班有14人
好多時間係度等, 咁佢地又係玩玩具
手工唔太適合佢地
唔會有任何野教, 顏色, 數字都唔會謂, 只有唱歌
時間比較長

我知YMCA Mon & Thur都有個類似, 每次收費. 我遲點去試. click here YMCA - Parents & Toddlers

因為Odo只愛玩, 去到成日喊, 一定要玩, 可能唱歌都唔吸引, 無音樂. 所以好似只去玩咁, 暫時唔考慮join.

You join Sat or weekday one ar. I am also thinking.
Another one can consider - My siubo in Phase 3.
They accept the ones who can walk.
