Me too. I need to pick my finger 3 times a day until I have my baby. But the good thing is I only need to control by diet (no need to take insulin).
Apart from following the menu supplied by the dietician, try to swap to as much low GI food as possible. Because low GI food helps you to improve the control of blood glucose level. e.g. white bread is high GI and wholemeal bread is low GI
