NY mom's

Hi all,

My son was born in NY. But after half years we back to HK. Now I'm consider we move back to NY. Any NY mom's can recommend which primary school for my son. My Aunt live in Bayside. But they're all study in private school. I dont want it> too expensive for me. any idea for me. Thanks all

Hello Freema,
Bayside係屬於Queens26學區,依個係好學區嚟.所以大致上嘅学校都唔錯.致於学校就耍睇你aunt住邊樹,public school要揀local ga.

你要提供zip code至知小朋友讀邊閒P.S. (小學)架.. 同香港好似.. 但香港嘅choice 仲多..
你land 之後打去311問, 佢會問你地址嘅zip code, then 會話你知, 你小朋友讀邊間P.S.架喇

你話俾我知zip code我應該可以講俾你知你小朋友会讀边間.我住2 minutes away from Bayside, so我都係住26学區. Overall, Bayside 嘅小学都唔錯,唔需要太担心

Thanks for your reply. But I lost bayside address. l need to ask my aunt. If i go back with my son next year. Do you have any idea for me? Are you living there? Bayside??Are you living long time in NY?

No prob. NY入学係睇住址,要讀住得自己最近ge school. 因政府唔想俾public transportation fee or school bus d fee ma.
我住Fresh Meadows, 2 minutes away from border of Bayside.我parents屋企响Flushing, Queens 區.我住多4個月就住夠NY 18年喇.咁耐以嚟返過HK 2次,住慣左喇,我鐘意依边嘅生活.

你住佐咁耐喇，當然習慣啦。我住了1年咋,所以有D唔慣.之前住我另一個呀姨處, 係Ozone Park,但我perfer Bayside 區,我都經常去Flushing. 冇Chinatown咁雜,.我唸等我再返NY探路,才決定邊間學校適合我仔

你揀Benjamin N. Cardoso High School or Bayside High School 嘅附近住啦. 依２间中学好好架. 雖然你仔仔未讀中学,但係你住果度附近嘅話,就会順理成章編嗰边小学&中学. Cardoso出名d, Bayside都幾好.
你有時間就睇下依個website la. NYC dept. of ed.

Greentree, Dorisbee 住Brooklyn
Rachel, so cloudy, Jayne, Darrenmama, Mavis, babygigi 住Queens, Flushing 個頭

我第一胎咋﹐ 仲有兩個幾月﹐ 依家唔敢週圍行。等BB出左世我就join妳地啦。
