It can be present at birth, but more often it shows up after a couple of weeks, usually on the cheeks and sometimes on the forehead, chin, and even the back. there's no clear answer for causing baby's acne, it usually clears up within a few weeks, but it can linger for months. If it doesn't clear up within three months, talk with your baby's doctor. Don't put creams or oils on your baby's skin, because these can make the acne worse.
