Thank you aggie for opening this topic for me!! My baby doesn't wanna suck my nipple, she doesn't open her mouth wide enough!!! And when she can suck it, she just falls asleep.. I try to wake her up, but she still doesn't suck..
I need to squeeze the milk by manual today cos I still haven't got enough milk.. :-( So i need to cupfeed her milk... (milk powder), really sucks..
We're very supportive to each other ga, don't give up so easily ah... everyone has her own problem here and things will work out as time goes by... add oil la!!
BTW, don't push yourself too hard as you are prone to emotional bursts ah!!

Please keep direct breastfeeding as frequently as possible, milk amount gradually will be better when 上奶 after few days.
Hayes often slept when new born, I kept on frequent breastfeeding & waking him up. I just encouraged myself to keep up, even though my nipples 啜到損晒(because of wrong position), wounds are recovered soon after few days.
He was fine & gradually learned to suck my nipples.
In order to provide the best & natural food for BB, please add oil & don't give up!!

My baby was admitted to the hospital today cos of neonatal jaudice, I'm missing her a lot! She just sucked my nipple for a little this early morning! My breasts were as hard as rock this morning.. I squeezed out the milk for her today and gave her about 40ml before she went to the hospital and she finished it all.. THANK GOD!!!
Then I pumped two more times in the afternoon and evening.. Squeezed out 110ml more.. gonna give my hubby to give her in the hospital tomorrow!!!! Anyway, hope she'd be home tomorrow!!
