Has anyone compared the IXUS75 with 850is? It should be out in HK very soon (already out in US). When it arrives, maybe the price of 850is will drop further?

Wonder why Canon HK is taking so long to release it here. Isn't HK usually faster with new products than everywhere else (except Japan)?

If only it has 28mm, then I would probably consider it; since the IS feature is not too important for me. Everything else is more or less the same. The best prices I got are 70=$2380 & 850=$2880, same free gifts for both (2GB, 2 batteries, tripod, pay by visa). So I wonder if 28mm and IS features worth paying $500 (about a fifth of the price)?

The Panasonic has about the same features (except for Face Detection) and costs the same as 850is. As for Olympus, I think I would buy a Fujifilm before considering Olympus.
