I've never 跟團 in my life before... even with my girl.... ever since she's a bb starting 5 months.. I started traveling with her all over the world..
She's now 3....
Last Chinese New year... my husband and I decided 跟團 the 1st time along with our girl. All of our friends told us NOT to.. becuase the child might be too tired....
the outcome....
We had the best traveling experience ever....
here's why
1. my husband and I didn't have to " use our brain" ... after so many years of traveling, we are sick of planning for transportation, where to go eat, what to do next... 跟團 solve all the problems.. we can just relaxed and follow the tour... No more check in hotels... finding taxi... making reservation for meals...
2. bus took us anywhere....after 30 mins... we went right back into the bus... all the shopping bags stayed in the bag.. no need to carry around...
3. yes, the Morning calls were tough... but we usually got our rest in the bus...when we were too tired.... we slept in the bus from point A to Point B... so comfortable that someone could drive us.. no need to look at the maps!!!!
so NO problem.
thanks to the morning calls.. if not, like before, we would sleep till 11am... and miss out a lot
4. my girl enjoyed playing with other kids in the tour
5. NO need to carry our luggage... just leave the luggage outside the hotel doors.. and they'll pick it up in the morning.
but the things I didn't like were:
1. change hotels every day
2. not so nice hotels
Anyway, it's definately Doable 跟團 with your kids.. ( starting 3)... they'll like it, .... no need to plan anything... just follow them like a " no brain " person.... save a lot of energy and time so you'll can do more親子溝通 24hr/day for 7 days!
that's the point of taking your kids taveling.
Yes... I agree!
It's part of the learning experience.... for us, adult too!
"..不是自己想點就點..." I LOVE YOU SAID THAT... I think most kids in HK are much like " prince and princess" .. they must have their ways not matter what!!!! I even told my girl ( 3 yrs... old enough) that she must pee or poo NOW.. becuase when we were in the bus,.... no one will stop the bus for you to pee or poo..... and she did it..
Also, if she didn't eat now... the next meal would be 5 hours late... and everyone ate the same thing... so she had to eat that too..... after the 1st day.. she had to complain and ate whatever we ate.. so nice!
