Hi, can anyone in here can help please? I know some people can burn 8 to 10 40 minutes tv show in a 4.7gb dvd. What kind of software do they use and how to use it?

It depends on which mode you are using in recording the TV. Usually 120min in SP mode, 240 min in LP mode, about 10 hours in SEP mode, the lowest video quality.
