Same case for my relative's BB. His 腎 is a little bit big & 排尿have some problem. Baby need to stay at hospital for 3 month after born. But 個個B唔同. Just for your reference. Don't worry.
Hi, I would like to share my experience here to see if it can help anyone who is in need.
My son also got a problem on his kidney (swelled), which was discovered when he was still in my tummy (about 33th week during my pregnancy by ultra-sound scanning). My doctor said nothing could be done before his birth. In order to know more about the illness, I went to see a specialist in Central (Dr. Yeung) who explained the possible happenings and reasons as well as the treatments for the kidney problems to me patiently. Again, he could only check the problems after examining my baby thoroughly.
My baby was born in FEB. The situation of his right kidney got worse and it was found to be 腎積水 due to the narrow exit of the 尿道. Eventually, my son had undertaken 2 operations when he was still 4 week-old and 5 week-old (because the first one was unsuccessful).
He is fine now, like other normal babies. And, he needs to take another operation 6 to 7 months later. Dr. Yeung is a very experienced & kind doctor. Taking this chance, I would like to thank for his every care & help to my son.
