各位媽咪,

請問有冇ＢＢ會入讀2007-2008維多利亞幼兒園N1?
你地會唔會係5月5日註冊日買埋校服同報名搭保母車呀?
校服應該買幾多套?
咁細個搭保母車安唔安全呀?

你住邊區？我就唔係好放心佢得兩歲人仔要自己搭校車，我諗住早上返學自己揍，中午放學工人揍。

I took a glance at the link and noted that your daughter had been admitted after the registration day. I have been applying for the am session as soon as my daughter had been admitted for the pm session. But no response so far. My husband and I are thinking that we might be wrong in declaring that we would be indifferent if our daughter is going to be placed for the pm session.

VK told me that there were about 200+ applications this year whereas there are only around 90 vacanies. They said that, unlikely past year, competition is very keen this year. In fact, my daughter had also been admitted by Creative Kinder. But I would prefer VK as Creative also charged almost $3000 a month for nursery class (and not eligible for school fee vouchers).

Hi Yenam,

From my knowledge, VK only offer AM section for "loyal" customers, for example, your kids have been studying for certain period, or a elder brother / sister is in AM section now.

Most of parents prefer AM section, how did a Kinder decide who will go to AM section ? For some Kinder, it may depends on performance of interview.

It was just a friendly reminder that if you are insist to join AM section during interview, and you are not so competitive to other candidates, you may be allocated to "waiting list" instead of PM section. I had made such mistake last year.

Thanks for your reply.

In fact, I have called VK yesterday and they said that my waiting number is 15. It is not highly possible that my daughter can be relocated to am session during nursery, but most probably can be relocated once promoted to K1.

The reason why my husband and I chose to be indifferent for am session and pm session because we want to secure a seat in VK given the fact that our daughter has a disadvantage of being smaller in age. According to your reminder, we are really glad that we had made a right decision as my daughter can, at least, admitted for the pm session.

PM session is not that bad, but I am just thinking when should my daughter take a nap which she used to take at 2:00 p.m each day.

There is no need to buy all the books and toys. Last year I bought all but I found the books were so simple. In my opinion, I only liked the CD with the school songs and one or two toys only. Further, the toys and books were delivered to you on a piecemeal basis, not at the same time.

Of course, you need to buy the school bag and possibly the cup with cover if you do not have. For the towel, you can use your own. Regarding 玩具圖書館會費, I also paid for it for the first half of year. After borrowing the toys for a few times, I cannot identify any interesting toy and I stopped to pay the fee in the second half of the year.

For school uniform, only one sport wear is required. Hope it helps!

Yenam,

Don't be disappointed! If the situation is similar to last year, the possibility of changing to AM session will still be high since they may have reserved some AM seats for the waiting list in other campus. Last year, request for AM session during the registration date was still successful. However, they will only inform you about the re-allocation after the registration date. Good luck!
