I have been using B Free bottles for 2 months and currently I find the heat sensors for all 6 bottles turn pink no matter they are under room temperature or when I soak them in cold water. I am worry that they may cause chemical side effect.
I called to the local distributor this morning. According to them, the heat sensing function is not permanent, that means the heat sensor will stop to function after a certain period of time. It's really strange but they said the material is absolutely safe and no need to worry.
I've the same experience as you, yeeyeelaut.
I used it for about 2 months and the sensor becomes pink permanently.
I asked the 代理商 and they said that it means the inside tubing (the sensor) need to be changed and there is no toxic effect from this change.
The Bfree bottles are good otherwise, so I'm still using them :-P
I will continue to use the bottle (because they are so expensive) and am not planning to change the sensor. Anyway the local distributor said even though the design includes a heat sensor, we should not rely solely on them.
