wherever there is moisture/water, there is bacteria!
so, to keep it clean, just keep it dry!!!
you can still pre-wet them, but in small quantity (e.g. for the usage of same day) and never use it for eyes.

I tried both wet wiper & 詩思樂乾棉. I prefer 乾棉. Each morning, my helper will moist some of the cotton, usually split into half, in a clean plastic container, so it is convenient when it is needed, but we use that for pat pat only. Even though I use the same cotton for eyes & face, but only moist when I need. I feel wet wiper has some chemical (sometimes, I see soap on the wiper). So, 詩思樂乾棉 is economical, convenient & clean.
