Taking a trip with BB

We plan to take our 11 mths old BB to Bangkok for vacation (3 days 2 nites). Is it ok for BB to fly at that age ? Anything we need to pay special attention on ? Thanks.

BB所需的日常用品甚多，如紙尿片、奶粉、奶瓶、BB浴露、潤膚膏、衣服、尿疹膏……，在攜帶上頗為不便，而且，BB乘坐長途機多會經常啼哭，媽咪應要有心理準備。除此以外，如帶同BB出外旅遊，應在訂機票時通知航空公司，好讓對方能為BB作出適當的安排；另外，盡可能在出發前為BB檢查一下身體，並注意不會錯過注射防疫針的時間，但如果目的地不是傳染病疫區，就毋需特別注射預防針；如BB是在陌生環境不易入睡的，可與醫生商量，以決定是否在需要時餵BB吃一些容易入睡的藥。如果在飛機升降時因氣壓改變而令BB感到耳痛及大哭大叫，可餵BB飲些清水，並加以安撫，BB感到舒服了便自然不再哭鬧。

除了上面說的妳另外要注意的是現在機場有新規定
液體乳液類的東西要裝在不大於100ML的瓶子裡
瓶子要裝在可重複使用的透明膠袋裡
總瓶子容量不能多於1L
但是嬰兒奶粉用品除外

我不知道你是不是要坐飛機如果是
建議你先向航空公司問清楚規定
免得到機場時候麻煩

We took our son back to HK to visit my family for 5 weeks when he was 11 months old. No problem at all even though the flight was close to 9 hours. You can request the airline to allocate the front row seats with bassinet for you. Your baby can play or sleep in the bassinet. This will make things a lot easier for you.

How would you sterilize the milk bottles at the hotel ? Using those disinfectant tablet ?

Also, we plan to go to Bangkok. Do you think I can use those "watson" distilled water bought in BKK to prepare the milk ?? Thanks..

yes, I think you may better bring along the 'watsons' distilled water because Bangkok doesn't have this brand, I used to go to Bangkok with my baby boy when he was 15 mths, and I also need to bring along the water la....

我同樣有這個問題, 如果我帶'watsons'水去, 但怎樣加熱用來開奶? 另外, 第一日旅行, 我只能帶上機的水咁少, 都唔夠開奶, 有無提意bb(10個月)可以食d咩?

Just went to Singapore with my 7 months old daughter for 6 days. I brought 2 bottles of watersons distilled water and boiled the local water to made the milk.

Beside, you can buy the distilled water after you passed through the HK Immigration.

How did you sterilize the milk bottles & other accessories ? I got a bottle of Chicco Disinfectant liquid. Not sure if I can just use it instead of steaming.
