It usually takes at least 24 hours to defrost from frozen to liquid in the 2-8oC compartment. When you warm it up, don't use very hot water because it will destroy the protein in the milk. Use 50-60oC warm water and it may take 10-15minutes to warm up the milk. I use bottle warmer and you don't have to change hot water frequently.
