今日方向報話Dr. Brown's奶樽勁含雙酚A,點算
阿仔由出世到而家都用緊

加拿大衞生部驗出本港有售、標榜完全不含致癌化學物「雙酚A」（BPA）的Dr. Brown's「自流式」奶樽，其雙酚A含量竟高於其他同類產品，而相關產品於正在灣仔會展舉行的國際嬰兒、兒童用品博覽內，亦有參展商發售。香港海關將跟進事件，若發現市面出售不安全嬰兒用品，會採取執法行動。香港消費者委員會亦關注事件，並會搜集資料研究跟進行動。
各品牌奶樽雙酚A含量
加拿大衞生部化驗九個牌子奶樽在盛載熱水後的雙酚A釋放含量，發現八個牌子均含雙酚A，其中在本港有售、包裝說明上標榜不含雙酚A的Dr. Brown's「自流式」奶樽，雙酚A含量更是最高。化驗結果顯示，Dr. Brown's該款奶樽盛載攝氏六十度熱水兩小時後，水中雙酚A含量為每公升逾零點零六微克；二百三十八小時後，含量更達到每公升零點九微克。其他五個聲稱不含雙酚A的奶樽品牌，包括Baby/Bebe、Nuby、Medela、Whittlestone和Gerber，亦同被驗出雙酚A含量達每公升零點零零二至零點零二五微克。

美國環境健康科學基金會雙酚A專家邁爾斯表示，是次驗出的雙酚A含量水平對健康應無重大影響，但對於聲稱無雙酚A奶樽的雙酚A從何而來，有關品牌值得深究，有可能是製造過程中從其他來源摻進雜質。雙酚A常用作塑膠容器的強化成分，加熱後會被釋出，動物研究顯示微量雙酚A可能造成賀爾蒙失衡，導致乳癌和前列腺癌等。加拿大去年四月全球首次將雙酚A列作危險物質，禁止嬰兒奶樽含有雙酚A。

消委會海關跟進
香港消委會發言人表示，商人應確保產品不含雙酚A才售賣，否則需承擔責任。消委會會搜集資料研究進一步跟進行動，並認為海關應跟進調查，並在有需要時執行消費品安全條例。海關回覆表示會跟進事件，如發現有不安全嬰兒用品在市面發售，會採取適當執法行動。由於昨日是周末，本報未能成功聯絡Dr. Brown's的香港代理商回應事件，但荷花親子中心及吉之島百貨均稱，沒有售賣Dr. Brown's的奶樽。

Dr. Brown's屬英美知名奶樽品牌，該款被驗出含雙酚A的自流式奶樽屬得獎產品，過去五年一直被具影響力的美國嬰兒雜誌選為「父母不可或缺」的產品。

I bought 3 for my BB to use before she was born. but I changed to Nuk Glass bottles after I checked the mouth piece too big for her. Glass bottles are more reliable. However, I have to change to plastic ones soon so that my B can hold the bottle when drinking milk.

Stop using Dr. Browns, keep the bottles, and wait for further announcement. Maybe we can get a full refund of the bottles or exchange for other products (just my hope). I don't think it will have big side effect to the B if only uses for 1 year. If you have concern, maybe u can bring your B to body check, but I will not.

其實真係好危險,始終都係plastic,我本身用chu chu,都話無雙酚a,但我都係出街先用,平日係home,會用玻璃樽,好似好d lor

Sh**t!! Just read this now. My bbs have been using Doc Brown's for 10 months!! And yesterday at the BB fair I didn't buy any new bottles as I didn't know! Now I have to run out and get new bottles!
Probably glass bottles, but afraid of breakage!

i've asked my maid not to put the plastic bottles in the bottle steamer, use boiled warm water to clean the plastic bottles. also don't use very hot water to mix the milk. i don't want to chg from glass to plastic bottles, but our Bs eventually have to hold the bottle and drink milk themselves.

maybe i shd consider Bfree or chu chu plastic bottles which are better (i bot 2 Nuk Nuk plastic yesterday).

因我一直都是烚奶樽,這個報導簡直晴天霹靂,好驚

我無睇方向報,係阿媽昨晚話我知,立即上網睇,點解其他報紙無登,是否不重要,對父母來說實在大件事

所以,今日即刻去買bfree!!!

Get plastic bottles and let your B to hold it when drinking milk! My B can do that about 2 months la... I think it helps to keep her concentrate on drinking milk!

I'm using Chu Chu but I think the hole is good for new born but not BB at this age as BB needs to suck deeply to drink the milk which is quite 辛苦 and slow! My ex-maid destroyed the hole and made it bigger (without my permission) but my BB drink it good and fast now!

My B knows how to hold the bottle 2 mths ago. she uses plastic Avent bottles for drinking water. but i also want her to start holding the bottle herself when drinking milk (like your B and acpeanuts B).
