I have a question in my mind for quite sometime and hope someone can answer me which is:-
Is it true that a more powerful pc such as dual-core cpu PC with 1 or 2G ram must be 100% or more faster than a P4 or P3 pc while browsing in the internet? I am using a very old P3(800), 256 sd ram in connecting to the internet by nwt, the speed for starting and dailing to nwt is very slow, but PCCW is quite stable( of course not fast enough). I wonder if i buy a dual core cpu PC can improve a lot of the above situation.
The specification of my pc as follows:-
P3 800 with 256sd ram;
32m display card;
20G harddisk;
Windows XP home
