This morning I went to doctor for sore throat & told him that I'll breast feed my baby. To my surprise, he advised me to stop breast feed the baby during medication period (confirmed that the medicine is okay for baby)

Will you follow his advice??

Did you ask the doctor why?
If he is concerned about the closs contact between you and baby will cause the baby sick, you can tell him that you will wear a mask when feeding and holding the baby.

一般來說, 醫喉痛的藥物中會有適合母乳媽媽吃. 你看的醫生是否愛用抗生素呢? 有時醫生為了安全計, 又不查閱藥性, 就會很保守地請母乳媽媽停藥. 支持母乳或相信母乳對bb是好的醫生, 一定不會開不合母乳媽媽服食的醫喉痛藥物.

如果你的喉痛是感冒初期, 基本上是最好時機將抗體經母乳傳給寶寶的.

如果遇上醫生說吃傷風感冒藥要停母乳, 就請他給你開孕婦可吃的藥, 就一定安全.

記得休息夠和多飲水, 讓身體快些復元. 祝你早日康復!
