I was attracted by Pampxxs Promtion Activity 2 or 3 months ago.
It said for every purchase of $150 of their brand name’s product. It ‘ll offer a $50 supermarket coupon. It is the activity that I bought many many pampers NB size, small size, medium size ( my baby was 1 months when I joined the activity). Many friends of mine and me did purchase many many stocks in advance and kept it in our flat for future use. To join the activity everybody has to enclose a $1.4 stamp in the envelope sent.
I just checked with the company about the coupon.
It said there was only 400 coupons for this activity.
I asked its staff (Ms Tse, supervisor)if she knew how many babies in hong kong? No answer from her. What do you think in this activity?
Cheating? I don’t believe that the company has sincereity to reward the customers but with only view to increase the turnover only? Do all ma ma agree with me? The company said it was not cheating as it had published in one newspaper that quota is full. I said her why it was announced in only one newspaper but not by postal materials.
Ridiculous!
If advertised in newspaper, I think not just in one newspaper. (I think many mama would agree with me.
Obvious that the company does not want to stop the increase of purchase turnover.
As such, all ma ma’s were sacrificed to buy that brand name because of the little jetso.
A very cheap method to increase turnover.
She gave no answer to why the matter of quota full announcement was in newspaper but not sending leaflet to the members? .She said “RESOURCES”. I asked her if I could talk to her manager. She said there was no need as she had reached many similar complaints before and her manager, Ms. S. Cheng would not reach us.
What a US company? Ridiculous?
In this activity, all participants have to enclose with a $1.4 stamp to join.
As such, the company may only take not much resources (money) for the promotion (because 400 coupons x $50 = $20000, if there is about 14000 (x $.140 Stamp) participants joined it, then nearly no cost, if over 15000 people to join, they earn instead).
Great methods.
It is no wonder why P&X is so successful.
Worth us learning (also the attitude from it staff) and knowing.
Besides, many mamy mothers would do same as me, buy more more more because of the promotion.

It further said there was no need to state the quota as no quota stated does not violate the Hong Kong law.
Then , I said if it does not violate law if it only offers 4 or 5 coupons. She said right and there is no need to state how much it will offer for the activity. Cheating?
Be careful when you see PampXX promotion activities in future.
Or you call the company the activity details clearly (remember, clearly) before joining it.
Please tell others what Pampxx (its company P&X) did .

I totally agree with BCdad. At first, I saw this leaflet and found that it was very jetso. You buy diaper for only HK$150 and it would have HK$50 Wellcome coupon return. I think it is impossible. So I purchased the diaper from Mannings over HK$400 and hope I can have a ABC Toy insteads. I phoned to P&G in mid of July (the promotion period nearly finished) and she also said it was quota was also full. I think they were cheating me too. I also hope that selling method should be probihited from authorities.
