(1) Add 2 tablespoon rice to 4 rice bowls water to the calypot (High heat a few minutes and then middle heat and then low heat)
(2) cook 15 minutes (Note : add raw meat such as minced lean port/minced chicken at 10 minutes)
(3) stop the fire and keep the lid close for another 15 minutes
(4) turn the fire to low heat
(5) cook 10 minutes (Note : add meshed veggie at 5 minutes)
(6) stop the fire and keep the lid close for another 10 minutes.
The congee will be very soft then. Save time and save money. This is learn from a chef in a chinese restautant.
