my son doesn't like water either, but recently, after I fed him "rice cereal", I fed him water with a spoon, he drinks quite happily and readily. Perhaps he is thirsty after the rice cereal, or the water is mixed with the remaining of the rice cereal, so he finds it more tasteful, or that he finds it more fun to drink with a spoon. Anyhow, try it with a spoon. Also, when I brush his teeth with gauze at night, he sucks the water from the guaze, so I use that chance to let him suck more water even after I finish brushing his teeth (gums!)
