Owing to my job, I have to travel to Europe alone for 2 weeks when I'm in week 15. I'm very that I can't carry the luguagge.. :-( :-( :-(

Anyone has similiar experience with me before?
What should I pay attention to? Will there any special help from the airport??

You can trying calling the airline and ask for special boarding at boarding/unboarding assistance. They will usually arrange you to board first and unboard last, have someone to accompany you to immigration/luggage claim and wait with you until someone picks you up at the arrival hall. However, if you are only worried about not able to lift the luggage, there are usually porters (for a fee, of course) at the luggage claim who can carry your luggage thro' to your taxi or limonsine. My experience at airports in Europe is that most other passengers are more willing to give you a hand when they see you alone (esp with a 'bump'), taxi drivers, coach drivers are more helpful than the ones in HK as well.

As you are on business travel, ask you company to arrange a good pick-up service at the airport lor.

If you are still worried, why don't you ask your doctor to issue you a note saying you are not fit to travel and cancel the trip. Nothing is more important than the baby for now.

I have to travel to Europe in 2 weeks' time, I will definitely be travelling light with just a hand-bag and some sandwiches.

Take more rest and don't get stressed before you fly.

As I was stationed in Shanghai and I needed to travel throughout whole China everyweek for different projects, I was nearly taking flights at least one to rwo return trips per week and this horrible experiences was last until my baby in 34 weeks (not that long ago, just early Aug, last month.) Surely I am now in HK and waiting for my sweet heart comes.

I think the key issues to be noted are:

1) be careful to get on and off of the flight;
2) be careful during the trip, taking next to corridor seat, easy to go toilet;
3) aovid walking in the flight as sometimes not stable in flights;
4) get 2 pillows, one put on your back and one for your neck area;
5) don't eat too much food on the flight as normally is too salty for mama, bring some fruit, nuts and breads are good.
6) don't take too much luguagges on the flights as it will too heavy for you and don't hold up your hands as well, easy to hurt BB;
7) inform the airlines when you check in, they will know a pregnant lady on the flight and sit where, they will have some help for emergency. Surely, sometimes will upgrade you to businesses or first class, sounds good!
8) should dress like a mama and force people to know that you need special care and don't push you!
9) when you cross the custom, indicate you are pregnant and don't get through the x-ray check. They will use hand to check you! more safe and faster as they have separate alley.

In addition, don't fly to New York as they will fly close to North Pole, the sun ray will hurt the BB and make them with possibility to be disable. Dont take this risk!

Anywhere if I can choose I won't take too many flights, because our BB is our most important things in our life! Don't put them in any danger!

Thanks for your info, they're really useful!

I totally forget that there are X-ray checks at customs. Do you know whether HK and Japan has X-ray checks at customs? If I have to tell them I'm pregnant, which one should I told them? Coz usually we just line up and then cross the metal detection device?
