1. don't trust your maid
2. go to police station with your maid, tell police you are worry about your safety, and let police ask your maid, then she will tell the truth.
I have the same experience before, they never come to my home to disturb me, but of course, it depends on how much your maid own them.
You have to understand that they will keep calling you or even send you threaten letter until they receive the money or you prove that "she" is not your maid anymore.
we have filed the case to police this morning, but nothing can be done at this moment. should I renew her contract as she has been working for us for 4years. I know signing a new one might get the same case too...such a headache
Signing a new maid might or might not have this problem, 50 / 50, and the point is your current maid is having this problem. For me, I won't renew the contract.
