Hi Mamas,

Does your baby wake up several times at night?

My baby always woke up at 2-4 times, usually around 2.30a.m., then 4.30a.m and 6.00a.m etc, when you wake up to 'pa' his shoulder, he then sleeps again... I am really very tired cos my sleeping time is always interrupted by him.... i am now zzzzzzzzzzzzz............ Pls advise some methods to me, if any. Thanks

my baby also wakes up 2-3 times every night. I don't think it is because he is hungry. I also wonder whether it is normal for baby to wake up in the middle of the night? I think he makes dreams and then wakes up. I am not sure.

He doesn't sleep well all day, even in the day time he just sleeps for 30 mins - 1 hour after playing (drinking milk/ eating congee, playing for awhile and then sleeping). Moreover, i always not play with him some games make him 'excited to avoid sleep bad at night....oh......I know maybe he makes dreams lor, but his frequency is quite .... more...lor...... Are your babies also not like sleeping?

Also, i think he has enough food during day time, 2 times of congee and 3 times of milk per day.

I'm worry about this becuase the quality of 'sleeping' may affect his growth....

我個女由出世到現家七個幾月, 一覺睡天光的次數都唔會多過十次(意思指約11pm-6am), 就算現家戒左夜奶, 佢都依舊半夜醒一兩次, 有時唔生性仲兩三次添, 卒之搞到每次半夜佢喊, 我就抱過黎大人床睡, 無辦法啦, 就算有朋友叫我唔好咁做, 只會令BB越令越痴人, 我都身不由己, 第二朝又要返工, 起碼佢睡在大人床, 可以拍兩下就瞓返, 所以有時頂唔順都要俾工人湊; 我工人話個個BB仔係咁喎, 大大下就會睡得好D
唉.....唯有講句, 加油囉.....

poohlet 你個BB 同我既一樣, 連醒既時間差唔多, 醒左就企起身望, 唔見我就大聲喊, 跟住我放低佢拍拍佢個身, 就會訓返, 但唔夠一陣又醒。

hi everyone,

my girl also wake up alot at midnight too, then i found that she sleeps well while i turn on the hair dryer, so my lai-lai bought a hair dryer sound CD for her! Then finally she can sleep better la~ pls try try!!

Oh, it's great. Maybe i found some sound (also i will try the sound of hair dryer) that make him sleep well. How about some 'sleeping' music.

My baby same as you. During the daytime, she only sleep a short period time, sometime 30 mins to 45 mins for 2-3 times a day - need to carry. However, she also wake up in the midnight 1-2 times (but her eyes is closed but turn around). Everytime I need to give her some water and pacifier & carry for another 30-45 mins, then put down but after 1-2 hrs she will wake up again until 6:00 or 7:00am - I also very very tired. However, I can do nothing!
