Yes, you both should start getting use to the breastfed as soon as possible. Plus the colostrum is very important to the bb for long term. Of course, the bb need to lear how to latch on and you as well, position wise.
I had c section and hence started to feed my bb after 24hours. Was very tough in the first place because she got nurse on formula few times already. However, i kept trying and finally the milk start pumping in in 3 days time and is been 3mths now, my bb is exclusively breastfeed!!
