I attended both types. I think the Lactation Consultant can give you much more confidence and information. You can check out the course from www.lydialing.com, she comes to HK every now and then. She is very professional. After I attended her courses, I hv never thought of feeding my BB by milk powder, I didn't buy any milk powder before BB's birth. Now my BB has been drinking Breast Milk 100% for 13 months. He has very good weight gain, good skin, good health, good development in terms of speaking (now can already said bird, car, ball, flower, tiger, etc) and physical growth.
I also attended Lydia's seminars. She's wonderful. Too bad she only has very little time in Hong Kong.

Your information has been helpful. I have emailed Lydia and got her reply back. But she has not yet scheduled class in HK. I will keep checking with her schedule. Thanks a lot.
If you know any similar course hold by other lactation consultants, please also introduce me.
