Of couse. I have 2 kids, already very hard to hire a maid, and the maid not willing to renewal the contract after 2 years. Only can hire the one has no experiance.
I have 3 kids too (4.5yr, 2 yr, 7 mths). My previous 'yan' did not renew contract with me after 4 years. We found a new 'yan' who had been to singapore before. Her English is ok but no sense in taking care of kids/babies. She is single and young. It's no good to employ single and young maid. We intended to find a replacement soon. In fact, we considered 'bun' before but no 'bun' is willing to work at a home with 3 kids. So we switch back to 'yan'. You may find a 'yan' who had not been to HK. They have no choice. If you find local maids, it's really difficult.
