actually, we had have intereview in Cannam, KV and Laerning Habitat, St. Catherine and St. Joannaes College.

but i am still struggling where should i put my son for the local grammer school or IB school.

Don't you want to study K1 in victoria(HMT)?

SC is good but the school is old
SJC is small and old too (Full day)
LH is similar to Victoria? if yes why you need to change.
Cannan, I think it is not your cup (traditional chinese kg)
KV is good but no activity.

I want to know more about victoria (HMT), why you want to change k1.

Be honest, i think victoria is a good school. but of cource in my mind quite $$$,
for SC, just individual experience, I know one relatives who study badly in SC.
Too much pressure and the child became v. passive and shy.
Of cource, i understand that SC may train student good in the some circumtance

Why did you choose victoria (HMT) for N1?
I remember it was very difficult to enter N1 last year.

May be you choose one or two your interviewed school and pay the $660 for buy a sit.

For my opinion,
if you want more english, SJC & SC
if you want more discipline, KV
LH is similar to victoria
Cannan save $10000學卷

You have few month to observe which one is your final choice.

After discuss with my friends, I will not pay $660 to SJC.

As you said, i did pay the $660 to save my sit..
I will move to Hk side and the site will transfer to HK side.. if Daniel need to adapte to another new school, i will have more choice.
Victoria is still the choice, but my husband tried to hunt for another ..

Hi,

My daugter is studying in Victoria (Harbour Height). I am also struggling for transfer her to other kinder or not. I have let her go to several so called famous kinder for interview. All in all, Victoria is quite good compared to other famous kinder but only about 40% kids can enter more famous primary.

I prefer to let her go to a traditional primary school. It seems that Victoria's graduates are not their cup of tea. However, there are rumors that KV, SC and SKH have many kids enter famous primary. Are there any statistics?

in statistic, victoria have less people to get into the "so called " famous school. U can referr to their have homepage ,Most of the school will state thier graduated student result

Unfortunately, KV, SC and SKH has no statistic shown at their wedsite. I really want to know whether any parents of the graduates from these kinders has got some statistic on these kinders even only their kids' own class.

Hi, thanks for all reponses, v. busy at home and work.

my son did failed in KV, will have 2nd interview in learning habitat (as mentioned it is quite similar to playgroup during the interview, just play play there)

we were acceptance by SJC, but the location is a little bit far from home, longer distance, longer time for transportation, i will scare to let my maid or by school bus alone.

Personally, i did quite like SJC (but i really don't if it is really good and famous?) becaus the baby can direct enter to Primary section, but it is so strange there are 2 campus, K1 and K2 will be in 火石road, but K3 will be seperate to the other location, and the K1&2 's campus is not as good as victoria (HMT), and there will be a tranffic jam during the morning.

I think i will stay in Victoria (HMT), but surely, i think i can bear the school fee for kindergarten but i just manily concern if the baby will have any advantages (if we consider don't send the child aboard) compare with those local school students, we all don't know the future how the eduation system will be afer several years, or IB will become a popular and common system which can be applied for amost of the secondary schools or U in HK,

the most thing i do concern whether i still can afford the school free while he enters the primary section which is very expensive. hopefully , i do like my son can learn more with less pressure but in happy environment.
