明年復活節會去日本及溫哥華之旅, 日本主力想睇櫻花, 溫哥華去睇北極光, 以下行程請比意見.

21/3-1/4 HKG to Vancouver (Direct Flight) : 10 days for 睇北極光及travel Vancover
1/4-5/4 Vancouver to Tokyo (Arrive Narita on 2/4) for 睇櫻花. 東京之前已去過, 所以stay 時間短d.
5/4-10/4 Osaka + Nagoya for 睇櫻花. 呢2個地方之前未去過

諗住連同復活節同清明假玩足3星期. 有諗過推到28/3 先出發, 16/4 or 17/4 返HK. 但又好似會錯過北極光/想睇櫻花最好時機, 機票未訂, 但打算呢2日出. 所以想大家比一下意見. 謝謝!!

Where will u go see the aurora? If Whitehorse, I think the chances are very slim in April

I will go to Yellowknife to see the aurora. So do you think it is better to go to vancouver first then visit Japan afterwards ?? Any chance to see sakura in Japan early Apr ??

I will go to Yellowknife to see aurora next March too. I will fly to Vancouver on 24 March, and take the morning flight to Yellowknife next day.
Flying to Yellowknife first will be suggested because 20/3 is 初一, the closer to the new moon, the better condition to see aurora.

Wow... Good !! So have you booked the hotel in Yellowknife yet ? Not sure if it would be better to stop in Calgary or Edmonton. Any suggestion ?

Not booked the hotel yet, but will do it soon. I won't stay in Calgary or Edmonton this time, but a few days in Whistler instead.
When will you arrive in Yellowknife? How many nights will you stay there?

Yes I think aurora is more worth to see..Yellowknife should be ok! If u are lucky enough, you probably will see Sakura in Vancouver too!!

Actually sakura are everywhere usually in normal neighbourhoods..I know terra nova in Richmond has or QE park

Will arrive Yellowknife on 22/3 and stay for 4 nights. But I haven't booked the domestic flight yet. So Whistler is good place to travel ? Which airline to you are going to take from Vancouver to Yellowknife ? It's my first time to go there so not sure if it is better to stay in Whistler, Calgary or Edmonton....

For domestic flight, I booked Westjet.
Banff, Victoria, and Whistler are all nice places worth to visit. We want to learn skiing this time, so we pick Whistler, and will join a day tour to Victoria.

We will go back to Vancouver before heading to Whistler, it's a 2hr drive from Vancouver.
In Vancouver, you may go to Granville Island, Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain. And take 1 or 2 days to visit Victoria. Do search on Tripadvisor, there is plenty of useful information.
