My son has a GBR passport which issued by the British consulate in HK, me and husband has a GBR passport , I just want to know do your kid had any problems when entering the UK? Cos my son was born in HK and never been to the UK and the passport photo was taken when he was 2 months old which he look different now, do i need to apply a new passport with a recent photo in it?
My daughter didn't have any problem when she went to UK the first time. My situation is same as yours, my daughter got her passport issued from the british consulate, and we took her to UK when she was 6 months old. Not sure how much your son has change, so to be on the save side, you might as well get a recent photo done.

Did your daughter went straight through the immigration when she got to the UK? Did they chop her passport? Or ask her any questions see if she was living over seas?
My daughter didn't have any problems going thro the immgration. As she was only 6 months old, they couldn't ask her anything, apart from having a look at her and compared the photo in the passport.
