其實英国都有好多地方好玩,例如位於waterloo 的大型摩天輪 london eye 啦,玩完仲可以遊埋船河潻.然後去唐人街食飯,再去餵白鴿 (都係喺唐人街附近.) Hype park and Regent park 都好大好靚, 仲有著名嘅Kew garden.
tower bridge 都係好靚ヌ有歷史意義的景点.仲末講大笨鍾(big ben) 和国會大厦喎. 至於shopping~除咗一定要去oxford stret,bond street之外,我極力堆介Bluewater 呢個shopping centre.
正如sa2501所講,一落机就去paris太趕喇,小妹妹會好辛苦,体息一兩日先啦.
From London to Cardiff by Train, you have to travel from London Paddington. (approx 2 Hr) Company First Great Western (www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk)
From Gatwick to London, you can choose the cheaper option by Southern www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk or Gatwick Express of course Gatwick express will be more expensive. (approx 45mins)
From London Victoria to Paddington u have to travel by Tube.
The train price is diff when u are travelling in the peak hr (mon-fri between 7-10am) so if u want to travel cheap, try to avoid the peak hr.
The price you get from National Rail is the standard price (ie without discount) but if u plan yr journey early and book the ticket in advance (direct from the train company) u usually get a good deal (sometime can be 50% or more cheaper)
I agree with SA2501 since u are travelling with yr daughter, it might be a good idea to travel by coach, save u from having to go up and down the partform. and having to interchange from train to tube to train again. but of course train will be more comfortable than coach for long journey.
