hello, i only join this website for few months and know quite a lot from here. I had 3 times misscarriage before and now, I know the reason for the miscarriage because of my immue system. So, Dr. ask me to take aspirin when I prepare to get pregnant. I would like to know, any sisters have similar problem and what's your treatment and did you succeed after the treatment? Let's share some knowledges and experiences.
If you have recurrent m/c, you are likely to have an immune problem. According to Dr. Alan Beer, there are 6 categories of immune problems. He wrote a book titled "Is your body Baby-Friendly?". The whole book deals with immune problems in reproduction.
However, immune problems need to be tested out and cannot be diagnosed because you have recurrent m/c. My Dr. sent my blood to the U.S. for immune tests and it is confirmed that I have the APA problem. This deals with blood clot issue. Therefore, he prescribed me aspirin and injection of heparin to thin the blood. If you do not have an APA problem, aspirin cannot help at all.
For women who have recurrent m/c, they have a high chance of having another immune problem, the "natural killer cell" problem. NK cells are for killing foreign things in our body so that we are protected from different diseases. Women with high NK cells, the NK cells will attack the embryo or fetus as if it is a foreign object of the body. Therefore, if you do not treat the NK cell problem, the chance of getting pregnancy or continue your pregnancy is slim. One woman reported having 16 m/c before she found out the problem.
Treating NK cell problem, you need another kind of treatment. Usually IVIG injection or intralipid treatment. Intralipid treatment is much cheaper though.

After they interpret your results, they can communicate with your doctor in Hong Kong and tell you doctor what treatment you need. They will follow your pregnancy until you give birth.

actually, I had a blood test for only Anti-Cardiolipn Antibody IgG and Anti-Cardiolipin Antibody IgM. The result is IgM positive and therefore, my Dr. prscribes the aspirin for me to prepare for pregnant. After I pregnant, I also need to inject something (i don't know what it is) to dilute my blood to prevent from clotting.
However, I also conducted a series of blood tests in China's hospital and found that I have APLA's problem, which is similar to what you mentioned in your reply "Natural Killer Cell" problem. I told to the Hong Kong's Dr. but she said this has not been proved by western doctors. Now, I am very confused and I don't who I can trust.
I want to know which doctor you consult as I also want to send my blood to Dr. Alan Beer's Clinic to see whether I also have the "Natural Killer Cell' problem.
Did you succeed to have baby after the Dr. Alan Beer's treatment?

My doctor in Hong Kong is Dr. Milton Leong. He can do partial immune testing for you. It costs about $4,500. However, it is not complete and some hidden problems cannot be found. I would rather spend a bit more and get the full picture of the immune problems.

He is a very good doctor but he does not talk too much. He only focuses on medical decisions but not the social chatting kind. Some ladies do not like that. For me it is OK. His office is very much like those in the U.S. I tried before. For example, using assistance to do most of the ultrasound for non-critical things.
I aslo consult Dr Melton Leong as I had 1 miscarrieage and did 1IVF &2FET which all failed. I tested my immune system and found high natural killer cell. Dr Leung suggested my immune system need to be suppress during FET. I plan to do FET in Augest by him. Do you think his knowledge and experience are good enough to handle my case? Or I need to consult Dr Alan Beer at the same time?
I have booked Dr. Leong on 12 May. Actually, my previous doctor suggest me to start the prenancy next month. However, I decide to start it after consulting Dr. Leong to see my previous checking is sufficient.
