各位:

有冇請過菲傭半路去了加拿大呀,我請了一個本來是護士,在那邊都有大約二千元一個月,我好奇怪呀,不斷問她,她有一句first step she want to be hong kong,我想那裡是second step?我真的怕她突然走佬,邊個看bb?

唔奇呀!加拿大果邊好需要這些菲傭,未婚,大學畢生好吃香!果邊人工高過我哋香港,仲可以移民,又可以申請家人團集咁過去,所以無得避o架!如果佢要申請係需要你的僱主信,到時你就會知,唔會突然走,所以都有時間預備.good luck啦!

Teritary Education & University also ok to apply to Canada. My previous maid is Midwife, she worked with me for 3.5 years, then resigned & working in Canada now.

It looks that it is very easy for them to work in Canada if their qualification is met.

I remember that it is not necessary for her to give the employer letter during his application stage. She can submit the employer letter when she pick up the Canada visa. So, the employer only know in very last minute with no time to hire a new one.

My previous maid also went to Canada. She finished contract with me and work with another employer for 6 months and then went to Canada.
So her employer has to find replacement maid in short notice.

My case is the same.... We are in very good term before, and this was her seventh year in our family... We trusted her so much and our children love her so much....

She made a story to mask up her plan to go to Canada.... and I was so silly to have spent some time to comfort and counsel her (as she told us that she had marital problem and that she must go to save the marriage).... This really hurt after finding that she told lies....

We even wrote her 2 very good employer letters..(one for the consolate and one for 'whom it may concern' , at that time she told us she need our letters to find a job in a children hospital of Phillipine and we appreciated her working morale and kind heart)

Now that we were almost crazy in making the every day logistic plan in child care and we are exhausted in doing the household chores after work.... as the new maid still had not arrived...

I am really angry with her (for telling lies to us and gave short notice to us before she go), but she really did a good job to our family before...

Hi yi,

The loan chasers of her told us that (it was also another shock to us that she had borrowed about $20,000+ from 2 finance companies before she went, I think she might need the money to pay the agent fee and airticket to Canada). We didn't believe it at first but it was later confirmed by my sister's maid ~ for we two families had a dinner just before my ex-maid went, and they got a chance to talk and talk...

咁, 我諗您既策略係要同佢扮friend, 得閒同佢傾吓佢有無意思申請去加拿大, 若有, 叫佢早d同您講 (起碼兩個月), 等您可以早d預備搵人替佢, 唔好跣您.

我個工人又係咁講.

佢話佢係香港做完二年便打算去 canada. 點去法及做咩就無講了.

上過月佢同我辭工返家.

來了七個月,當大家都相處得到又走了.

而家仲講返去生仔. 我地教好她點帶我BB後她又話走.

我要到5月/6月才有工人help.

I hired 3 maid in those years, 2 philipine and 1 indonesian.
the first one go after the 3rd day of the 2nd contract(taken 3 week holidays),... the present one expressed that she is going to sign contract in canada...
I think i am quite unlucky..

My ex-bun (also a mid-wife) did similar. She worked for us for 4 years. I did not renew contrat for her thereafter. Then she immediately found another employer (the employer even did not call up for reference).

Then one year later, one day my daugher received a call from this maid, she said she was in the airport and was leaving for Canada. She just wanted to say goodbye to her (cause she liked my daughter very muh).
