We are looking for volunteers between the ages of 18 and 65 years with a driving licence to take part in research on driving performance and fatigue. Our study involves a computer-based simulator drive of around 2 hours. To take part, participants come to the University on two consecutive weekdays, for around 1 hour on day 1 and around 2 ½ hours on day 2. Participants will be asked to shorten their sleep the night before day 2. Participants will receive gift vouchers up to a maximum of $100 if they follow the study’s driving rules.

Please note that there are some additional criteria in order to qualify for this study:
· You must be able to use a computer without glasses (contact lenses are ok. I also have a few sets of glasses compatible with the testing equipment. So if you do wear glasses and do not have contact lenses, please let me know and you may still be eligible to participate).
· You must not have any diagnosed sleep disorders.
· You must have normal sleeping patterns (i.e., you must usually sleep at night)
· You must have a full driver’s licence (If you hold an international drivers licence, you must have held it for at least 3 years. If you are on your P-plates, please let me know - you may still be eligible at a later date).
If you meet these criteria and would like to book a session, note that you will need to come to uni two days in a row.
Day 1-
We can arrange to start between 11am and 12:30pm. Let me know when is best for you.
This session will take about 1 to 1.5 hours (usually just a little over one hour)
Day 2-
We must start at 2:15pm.
This session will take about 2.5 hours.
