Wow, you just gave birth for a short time. Congratulation!
I got one baby girl who will turn 1 end of this month. I suppose was on Maternity leave too, and need to resume to work end of this month.
But, I quited the job as I don't have family here to help me to take care of my baby. I don't feel good to put her in childcare full time at this stage as she is still very small (age & size). She is a premiee, born 2 months earlier. But, she is doing well. When I feel she is ready to go childcare, I will start look for a job.
well....I also don't hv family here in oz to take care my boy..so still thinking whether to put him in NewZealand (my mum is there) or in HK(my mother in law is there) ...or I quit my job......
I am more prefer on the last option...as I heard from friends that childcare is not that good for the young ones....
u tend to go to the private one or the public one?
I am a part time mum who is working on Monday and Tuesday and take care my 5 months old son between Wed-Fri...I lived in city so really close to your place...i don't think leave your kids to child care centre is good as you don't know how they take care your son. That's is just my opinion.
Is there anyone helping you to look after your son on Monday n Tuesday? Coz if i quit my job, my husband wants me to go back to do my master(he said dun want me to be bored at home)..mayb doing a part time course...so still need someone to help for a few hours a day......
My mum will take care my son when i work on Monday and Tuesday. However, when my mum leave Melbourne, i will be a full time mum. I know there are some child care centre in St. Kilda Road and also in city (QV). Are you able to take night lecture? I know it's hard to balance both (take care ur son and study). Sorry can't help you. Hope can help you other things....
Hi, sorry to interrupt, I also just moved into St Kilda area, no kid yet (so bad), do you know any family doctor in this area who can speak Mandarin or Cantonese? We know there are quite a number of them in Boxhill/Doncaster, but they are a bit far away from St Kilda.
We can speak English but when come to medical advise, speaking Cantonese is much easier.
Thanks a lot.
