請問有冇媽咪喺養和醫院度生過BB?

你哋搵邊個醫生架?
你哋諗住開刀定順產呀?
你哋仲記唔記得埋單要幾多錢呀?
有冇啲咩什費要留意呀?
請幫忙提供多些意見呀?

I gave birth at HKSH. My doctor is Lam Man Ying, I think she is very good. I had natural birth with epidural. Stayed 4D/3N at general ward and it cost us just less than $40,000. Actually, the cost was much lower than I was expected as my doctor told me the package cost $35,000 for natural birth and $45,000 for c-session. In the end I had epidural and the nurse told us it cost $12,000. So I was expecting my bill end up to be around $50,000. So when i came to me at $40,000 only, we were all very happy about it. The nurse are very nice and I will go back to HKSH if i have second child.

I gave birth at the Santorium too (in Jun 07), my doctor is Dr. Chung Kai Leung, c-seation & 6 days 5 nights as baby got "yellow" so I have decided to stay one more night and left with him together. Totally spent HK$49,000 including doctor fee and everything. People there are pretty nice except few people in the baby feeding room.

Dear Queenie,

The Epidural normal cost $4000-$5000, why they charge u $12000??

The nurse told me that it would have cost me $12,000 at the beginning. Back then, I was suffered in pain already, so I did not ask for breakdown. However, they charged me $8,000 in the end. So i was happy about that already. :)
