Last week my Yan went out for day-off and never return. 2 days later, she sent me a regstered mail staing that I forced her to go out and tell her never to come back. It also states that I did not give her 1 month payment in lieu of notice. The most weird thing is she claims she had no rest days during the past 1 and half month (she's new here).
I reported to the police and immigration stating particualrly this maid is missing while the employment contract is still valid (cus I did not terminate her). Got advise from the labour department, who advise me to do every action to indicate that I was not terminating her, such like sending letter to her home in Indonesia to request her to report duty immediately, followed by another if no response. I did all these.
I've had her signing against all holidays that she has taken (but in English, that may be disadvantage to me) and of course she did take those holidays. Poor me.
These days I am so exhausted taking care of my two special kids (who are hyperactive). How would I terminate her knowing that I have such high need for a helper!
