My bb is 28 days old. We always feed her once at around 4 am. We found her become awake, stretches & making noises at around that time, slept back, and than stretches again...but does not cry for milk. (During the day time, she will cry loudly if she is hungry) I usually wait till 5 am or so and feed her.

Does it mean that my bb girl wants to quit the night feed? Should I wait till 6 am before feeding her if she does not cry for milk? Please advise.

Thanks!!!

I stopped feeding night milk when my boy is 1 month old. We found that he didn't really mean to have milk, we gave him pacifier then he went back to sleep... so we fed him at 11pm, then 7am again... now he is 4 months old, we feed at 11pm then 7am as well... no problem so far, but he needs pacifier... 奶咀怪!

if she doesn't cry for milk at night, don't feed her. you may increase her milk feed during the day, say add 1oz to each feed. if she get enough calories during the day she may quit her night feed.
