公司屬小型公司5個人,所以不會像大公司,有資源去請一個it support standby 同follow 。而公司本身行緊一套行業專用軟件。開始用的時侯,我未入依間公司!根據舊同事所知,server 同router 是軟件公司代購及setting。佢話公司D dell 機較低階,唔太啱用!
而今次部廠機亦係軟件公出quote的。而另一個砌機係我舊公司用開的it support!以前公司大,每年比maintenance 。而家的話,因為我地未必有太多問題,所以佢唔收yearly maintenance fee。上門逐次計。但佢就係一call即日就上門睇。

Re the 軟件公司, is it still providing maintenance, on call basis, for the server and router?
If u pick 砌機, who's going to config the PCs so the PCs can communicate with the server? Is ur "舊公司用開的it support" quotation include these configuration and integration? What if they, in the last minute, told you that they could not configure / failed to configure the PCs and you need 軟件公司 configuration support? Who's going to pay?
Would 軟件公司 consider ur actions, by using 3rd party PCs, as breach of maintenance contract (even though it's on call basis)?
When 軟件公司 told u "公司 d Dell 機較低階,唔太啱用". What did they mean, hardware or software? What are the risks if u stick with these Dell machines?
