u might wanna try to find out if there're any Townplace Suites or Residence Inn in NYC. those are the serviced-apartment styled hotels (under Marriot hotels). monthly rate is available and u can get reward points tim ga! they have stuido, 1-br (bedroom), and 2-br, etc.
Townplace Suites is a little cheaper than Residence Inn, but overall not too much difference between them. the later one is just a little bit upscaled.
Flushing is good ar ... lots of Asian people live there and lots of Asian cuisines ... probably can make you feel like home a bit ... hehe ... wish you enjoy your stay in NY
