Primary schools - good in both suburbs.

High schools - check address, as both Cheltenham Girls and Epping Boys are very popular.

Transport - Epping is better, more trains and buses.

Shopping - Eastwood is better, more Asian groceries, butchers, seafood shops etc.

Public - at least 4 within top 50 of NSW.

Private - St Kevin, St Michael etc. All have good reputations.

樓價升值潛力應是Epping，樓價都好高好旺，中小學也很好，因是大火車站和環境舒適過 Eastwood, 太多唐人區會好密雜。

My girls received an offer at Kent Road Public in Eastwood and will start school in July this year. I hope we made a right decision for them.

catholic primary school 多著重教導孩子品格守紀律，個人覺得選擇學校最重要是教育和品格同時重要，孩子須要從小教養有禮貌品格，但一般公校就未必著重這點，而且成績好與不好，多數在於孩子課外補習成果，未必全是學校教出頂尖學生。所以排名前幾名多數亞洲學生居多。家長一般只看頭排名就一定好，但有朋友仔刻意買屋為入讀排名好的小學後感覺真係麻麻，老師都唔駛教，大部份學生有去外出補習已學高半年或一級了，所以老師好輕鬆當同學生温下習咁教，但真有幾個無出外補習就好擔心自己又唔識做，所以都要外出找補習打底。做成壓力去讀。

This is parents\' choice.

Choose a good public school does not mean you must go to coaching college. Just like choosing a good Catholic school does not relieve the parents of providing a loving home environment.

If you research on these public schools, you will find that academic performance is not everything. They have a lot of activities you can join to allow your child to explore his/her interests.

I choose a good public school for my kids in the hope that they will have good teachers and friends to stimulate their brain during the week, and have Saturday free for sport to exercise and strengthen their body.
