suggestion of display card

My old display card SIS6326 (4mb or 8mb) cannot supports 24-bit colour and 85Mhz or higher.

I seldom play games. Any suggestion please?

Besides seldom play games, any other specs? Like:

- What's your mon?
- Do you need to watch video?
- Photo editing?
- Do graphics, CAD?
- Dual mon or multi-display support needed?

- my monitor is MAG 796FD 17" CRT

- usually, I watch video with my Sony TV and DVD player

- sometimes photo editing (I have a DC)

- no CAD needed. I will do video editing in the near future : to transfer video tape signal from DV to computer via firewire 1394 and burn DVD. I am consider to buy

i) a DVD writer for my computer or
ii) a standalone DVD recorder and connect to my TV (My CPU - Duron 600 overclock 850, which is not powerful for video editing)
