I want to subscribe some Japan share fund, but I worry about the rate of Yen. Say, even if the share prices raises, but Yen drop in view of rising interest rate in US, then this will adversely affect the return when I sell the fund and get back HK dollars.
Anyone experienced investor comment on the above question? How can I buy Japan share without the risk of exchange rate loss. thank
u are correct......and u must take the risk of exchange rate......
my previous experience was buy the japan fund , earn it....
when i sold, i found i did earn less than my expected.
1) exchange rate is earn by the bank / broker house.
2) management fee by fund house
3) bank commission 5%
so badly, thus i do not like to fund any more......
you can guess the cost is not cheap.....if you earn less than 20%...
