For most leather goods you could polish (actually rub cream in circular motion with a piece of soft cloth) with non fregrant cream, body, hand is ok.
For really expensive one such as virgin leather you can use mink oil. Some shoe/leather shop such as BASS and shoe/leather section sell leather care product.
