I plan to have my baby delivery in overseas, I have asked the airlines about the pregnant woman flying. They replied that it is ok for before 36 weeks and have a medical certificate.
Can you tell me what means of the medical certificate (is it the proof of before 36 weeks only or any other information need)?
Hope someone can help.
Medical Certificate means you need to see a doctor and ask him write a letter to prove that your health condition (by the time you travel) is fit for travelling on the plane.
Thanks.
When should I ask my doctor for about the medical report and certificate?
I am afraid that if I buy the airticket and make all arrangement, but he refused to give me a medical certificate so I can't travel.
u just simply see a doctor, last year during SARS i also fly away from HK on 34weeks ,i just see門診, then give the medical report on counter when check in and sign a document said if anything happen on plan (if baby born), must on own responsibility, of course they will help , but they will not pay for any accident, something like that. (signature is a must)
so... u consider yrself loh. i think is safe lah if everything normal... also pls dont fly too far away, if very far , better fly earlier...
I have some more questions to ask. You said that you only see 門診, is it a government clinc/ private clinic. Is it an O & G or just GP?
Moreover, which airflight did you fly last yer?
