想請教下各位媽咪你地係點樣幫 BB 改英文名架? 要有意思? 出處? 我囡囡預產期係下星期二, 我同老公仲考慮緊用邊個名, 不過心目中已經有心水, 請教過其中一個鬼佬朋友希望佢俾下意見個名好唔好, 點知佢話我地係 asian 點解改個 gaelic 名咁古怪, 想請問係咪真係有問題架? 我地想囡囡個名叫 Kaitlyn.

we have mom in this forum also named her daughter as Kaitlyn ... no problem wor

i think it's more important to find out the meaning of the name to see if that's what you want for your child

my son's name is Gabriel.. and we are buddism.. so.. we should change his name??

This is your first gift for your duaghter, and it should be something you and your husband in love with it..
Other people can give you suggestion, but you should only follow your heart!

all My fat bear husband's relatives being very negative as we chose Gabriel as my son's name.. who cares??
Amanda can say it loud with no problem.. and also, we believe that he is our angel.. that's it..

you have to be strong, and tell people that you made the right decision..
the first present you prepared for her, is her name..
and if you are ready, you can prepare the second present for her if you are going to breast feeding her.
follow your heart, follow your mind..

so you can see your baby very soon lar ... must be excited!!! ... which state are you in ar? don't forget to come back here if you have any question when caring your daughter ... here has many experienced moms =)

你個朋友個講法有啲古怪. 係咁多個英文名中, 有幾多個係起源於亞洲? 照佢咁講, 我地啲asian咪唔駛改英文名啦. 因為大部份英文名來自歐洲同聖經.

係夏威夷, 大部份人係亞裔, 差唔多個個都係mix亞洲人, 但個個都係用普通常用既英文名. 咁佢地就唔啱? 人名呢樣野又無版權, 無話irish 用過, 我地就唔用得.

所以呢, 真係唔駛理你個朋友. 自己鍾意就得.

初時, 我地都諗過幫亞仔改返個夏威宜名. 型麻. 但係怕亞仔第時到mainland 發展時, 啲人唔識讀佢個名, 怕令佢做成不便, 因為, 好多人, 連我個名, yuet=月. 都唔識讀, 所以我個仔個名都係常用名度揀出黎. 叫alexander. 而且佢又名乎其實, 係我既大帝

我同老公已經決定左用番呢個名送俾囡囡做第一份禮物, 雖然唔係好特別但我地好鐘意. 當初我話俾嗰個朋友知時我冇諗過佢會咁講, 因為我都好似你咁諗只要自己鐘意同有意思就得, 點知俾佢咁講我當堂窒晒, 佢意思係話我地係 chinese, 個 BB 係美國出世, 應該一係用 chinese name, 一係就用 american name, 但我地反而改個 Irish name 完全冇關係 (話 BB 國藉出生地屋企人都唔係 Irish), 令我以為喺美國除非係 D 好常用既名冇問題, 否則應該係要跟番自己國家或者居住地方黎改, 如果唔係 D 美國人會覺得我地怪, 但聽完你地咁講我知道晒啦.
