Yes Matrix will be way too small, espcially you have two kids. It's expensive as is to own a car in NY, you should own a bigger one haha. We just bought a new Highlander we love it!!

. The 2 screws at the front license plate ran into our bumper and left 2 holes on it. Also, the back trunk cannot close smoothly and we found out that the trunk cover was a little off alignment. My hubby was not too angry as the woman appeared to be so scared. She covered her mouth with her hand for at least a minute and she did not know how to apologize. Definitely, she played with her son who was sitting at the back carseat and she just paid little attention that the traffic light just turned red. When she hit our car, we were talking and on the way to pick up Spencer. My hubby said that it's the first time that he did not see the accident happened from the mirror. I know that he's sort of unhappy because the Volvo is his baby car. He bought it brand new and I told him that I have good impression on him on the first day I met him because he's driving a Volvo, hehehe....
