Toyoko Inn is good but can think about Super City. If u stay at Ikebukuro, they are located on the same street. Of course Tokoyo Inn is newer than Super City but compare the breakfast, Super City is better, it serve continental breakfast which has a lot of different breads and drinks for selection. Toyoko Inn only has traditional japanese breakfast - plain rice sushi and soup.

I will also stay in Southern Tower on early August , how old is your boy ? Do you book a twin room and pay breakfast buffet for your kid each morning ? My girl is 10. Do you think that is OK for booking a twin room?
my boy is only 2yr9m and the agent booked a double room fro us...had read from other topic that the hotel provides free additional bed if you pay the breakfast cost for your kid...
