Hi Bibifa,

I live in Tokyo, where do u live? Why & Where will u have your IVF?
I have just started IVF in March in Ebisu, ET on Mar 18 (2 embryo, divided into 8 cells) and now waiting for bingo on April 1.
I must tell u the whole process is very smooth and not much pain at all, therefore no need to fear...enjoy and wish u luck!

我依家住係愛知縣! 結婚(呢年)第五年啦! 都未bingo, 睇專科(豐田記念醫院)先知自已係 PCOS.
係呢四年幾睇專科醫生裡面, 都試過唔少次IUI...結果都係失敗, 今年先有勇氣去試IVF, 你知啦....呢邊做IVF唔平架ma。
唔知你介唔介意講下你幾多歲? 我31啦....唔想再等。
ET 即係乜野呀?
我剛剛過去既星期二見咗醫生....下星期開始食"避孕藥", 下個月16號兩老婆要去check血再傾Schedule。
係呢...你放完胎醫生之後有無同你做過d乜野咁? 例如食黃体素?
祝你早日bingo呀......嘩! 真係好開心係度識到你。

你幾時做IVF? 我都係 PCOS 架....要減肥...但減極都係肥。 :;pppp:
高溫期短我以前都係架...最多得9日高溫, 之後同醫生講...醫生先醒目開黃体素比我, 我冧keep住食咗2年咁上下. 依家高溫期可以有12~14日啦。不過; 聽醫生講...其實食唔食黃体素都係幫助唔大。只係可以短暫性令內膜變厚, 另蛋蛋容易"著床"d。
若果正常bingo既話.....其實体內會有(黃体)激素....所以一定要食咁話Woo!:;pppp:

u are much younger than me! i'm late 35. miscarriage once in 2004, by then doctors said we don't need to seek further check-up - just try again naturally. however, i decided to have detailed check-up last nov. and discovered that i have bicornuated (heart-shaped) uterus which makes me difficult to conceive and have higher miscarrtage rate; also my FSH is high (14.xx in Jan 2008).
Doctor sugguested me to start IVF right away.

ET = embryo transfer

I came to Japan in Jan 2007 with my husband and i am kind of a housewife here. How about u? your husband -chinese or japanese? do u need to work? can u speak fluent japanese?

i found the cost of IVF is much cheaper than in H.K. wo. in my case, it only costs around 500,000yen for all check up, medications and operation. how about u?

愛知縣 - how long would it takes from tokyo to your place by car or shinkansen?

500,000yen? 我聽姑娘講都係差唔多咁上下價錢。但真係好驚...一次唔得...要做第二次, 不過; 我已經無得選擇, 所以;決定試一次。係呢! 咁你放完胎後...有無塞藥及藥物比你食呀? 你係咪放咗兩個胎呀? 我都冧緊希望可以放兩個....不過; 要同醫生傾咗先決定到。你應該仲有2個星期左右就驗孕, 你要小心身體呀! 嘻嘻....連我都"登"你緊張埋添。

雖然我老細(即我老公)係"架人", 不過; 我d日文唔流利架....講起真係會笑大人個口。係香港學到中級(都無)就結婚黎咗呢邊啦! (嘻) 你呢? 你先生都係日本人? 你點識佢架? 你日文叻唔叻架?

唔....由我屋企查車去"山梨縣"要大約3~4個鐘左右, 我冧去東京多個零鐘應該去到掛。新幹線? 真係唔係好知啦!

依家你要萬事小心...唔好飲凍野; 食生冷野...仲有無好拎重野添呀, 要多休息知道嗎?

my husby is chinese, same as me from h.k.

Since last year, I attend 1.5 hours japanese lesson as I am lazy, therefore my japanese is not so good.

After ET, I need to 塞藥 (Progestreone-P) one for each day and put 2 stickers (Estrana, dunno what exactly it is - just knowing it is some kind of hormone stimulus) per two days and no more medicine. Thanks for your caring and i definitely will take good of myself and try not to waste the effort and money for this big project.

By the way, how do u meet your husby lei?

What will u do during weekend and holidays? We used to travel nearby city to have onsen in ryokan, however, after i started this project, we can only stay in tokyo city for a while lor.

In fact, 500,000yen when comparing with Hongkong, it is much cheaper la. Moreover, here we don't need to wait to see doctor - we can start the treatment right away, therefore I think we are already very lucky. Plus I can claim back most of the costs from my husby's company insurance plan, so I feel much more comfortable to try the IVF.

Wish u have a good start in your treatment.

噢! 原來你先生係香港人黎架! 因為公司原因要佢黎呢邊工作? 咁會唔會再返香港咁架?

1.5 hours japanese lesson? 咁基本發音識唔識? 生活會唔會唔方便咁呢? 睇多d電視劇...好似學上手。係呢! 你先生識唔識日文?

我係(日本)網上交友區識佢架! 後來就遠距離戀愛...跟住結婚。

週未 or 假期真係要睇睇我老細洗唔洗加班, 唉~~佢公司無乜人性, 如果無既話會同隻女(迷你牧羊)一家三口去公園行下散散步。最好唔洗點用錢...又可以玩足一日。

onsen! 一年一次咁大把咋.....上年去加賀溫泉區, 今年都唔敢太車望啦。

係呀! 我地已經比起香港個d已經好好多架啦...起碼唔洗排唔洗等丫。
你就好啦! 可以claim反老公司, 我地無架...無得claim反保險架, IVF全部要自費, 所以好肉痛...但我無其他選擇! 唉~~希望我地一take過, 唔洗再咁辛苦日日去打針。

係呢! 係呢! 我想問下你呀! 你打針方面total打咗幾多針呀? 你又抽咗幾多粒蛋蛋呀? 我呢邊既醫生話...最好有15~17粒抽到就Good Fit Woo!

我下星期一開始食避孕藥, 下個月16號兩老婆去驗血....再同醫生傾細節, 上次聽醫生講....應該5月尾6月頭可以抽蛋蛋Woo! 唔......希望抽到靚蛋啦!

我地呢邊同東京區都差唔多開始有櫻花睇啦Woo! 你會唔會去睇呀? 唔.......不過; 人會好多, 若果去既話要小心多人呀!

Very glad that u can reply so soon.

Originally, we learn together for about 10 months; after that our levels differs (i learn much faster), then he drops and i continue. Katakana is ok but listening and oral is not so good.

For my treatment, I had 7 injections by myself at the belly. I only have 2 eggs on ER (eggs retrieval) and very lucky 2 eggs can be fertilized in good shape and divided into 8 cells.

If bingo, we probably will see sakura in tokyo la. Ha, in fact my home is just near a famous sakura spot in tokyo. It's really beautiful.

Will u come to tokyo often?

hey, i forgot to tell - in tokyo, minatoku after having IVF, u can get a refund for part of the payment of your household income is below certain level (but it seems that this benefit is different from each "ku") or under the tax system, medical expenses over 100,000yen is tax deductable wo. u better check check la

In fact, I live in Roppongi.

Recently, my husby is very busy - tonight he comes back at around 10:45pm; we just finished dinner jar... need to take some rest before sleep.
