Mine can use straw about 11 months. I let her drink Gerber juice (the one for 6 months old) and she succeeded after serveral trials. Then, I let her use Combi cup and she has no problem with that. Normally, the straw BB uses is narrower and softer. However, they can manage to use normal straw when you give them Coke or lemon tea!!
