I also want to ask how much hot & cold water did you add? Let say to make 8oz of milk. Because I've read the message from other memebers that they're also using the Beanstalk for 9months-3yrs old babies. They said that you've to use 1/2 hot & 1/2 cold water to dissolve 5oz of water with 5 spoon of milk powder, after shake well. Then add 2 more oz of cold water & shake well again.
For the dissolve method of milk powder, I think there will be different kinds of method used by each mother.
I will use 50 oz hot water, then add 20 oz cold water to dissolve the 5 spoons of water. You may ask why you use so less hot water. It is because my baby doesn't like hot milk. Especailly during this hot weather, he will refuse to eat if sometimes my maid added just 10 oz more hot water.
So I cannot add too much hot water and if I use half (say 120 oz) to dissolve the milk, then it will be too cold to dissolve all the powder.
I think it doesn't matter how much water you put inside to dissolve the powder. The principle is to dissolve them into liquid. I remember I have read that if the water is too hot to dissolve the powder, some nutrients may burn by the over heat.
Take a good example, Canadian are given their baby cold milk stored at refrigerator, so to me, I am not too suggest to give them too hot milk. But of course, we Chinese mostly believe drinking hot is better than cold.
